The Paramount Importance of Flip-Flops

Have you ever been too lazy to put on your shoes before taking out the trash? Or had to step on the disgusting bathroom floor of your dorm at night? These issues, if you didn’t already know, can be solved with flip-flops.

Flip-flops, often colloquially referred to as “flips,” or “flops,” or “flop-flips,” are mind-blowing pieces of footwear that are incredibly convenient and (slightly) comfortable. They are the best type of shoes to wear for a sunny day at the beach, at the park, in your room, at the library, at the cemetery, in prison, among many others. Thankfully, we don’t have to suffer the torturous hardship of living in a world without flip-flops.

While everyone should be aware of the advantages of these divine pieces of rubber, I, unfortunately, must also mention its disadvantages to not sound “biased” and for the sake of “journalism.” Thus, I will list these insignificant disadvantages in the briefest way possible:

They become extremely uncomfortable after wearing them for long periods of time. They make for terrible footwear in Winter. They don’t protect your feet from anything other than the ground. They are useless in the rain. They wear and tear very easily.

Now that we have all that irrelevant stuff out of our way, I will tell you why you should own flip-flops.

First of all, they make you look great under any circumstance. Below are several examples of how amazing you can look by simply wearing flip-flops.

Here is a gallery of people looking stupendously beautiful while wearing flip-flops. Their flip-flops significantly enhance their appearance; they would clearly look horrendous without them.

Below is a gallery of people that forgot to wear their flip-flops. See how sad and miserable they are? Better not forget to wear your flops next time!

Now that you know how great flip-flops make you look, I will explain how they come into play in hip-hop culture.
